Ayla M. Walker, Esquire, joined Brodie & Friedman, P.A., as an associate attorney in March of 2017. Ms. Walker dedicates her practice exclusively to marital and family law, representing clients in a wide variety of complex dissolution of marriage actions in addition to handling matters relating to timesharing and parental responsibility, paternity, enforcement/modification proceedings, alimony, child support, and pre & post nuptial agreements.
Ms. Walker was born and raised in Stuart, Florida and attended school in Florida throughout her education. Ms. Walker graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies and received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University. While in law school, Ms. Walker participated as an intern in Nova’s Southeastern University’s Children and Family Law Clinic and served as a mediator in the Juvenile Diversionary Mediation Fellowship program, wherein Ms. Walker helped divert first time offending youth from the juvenile justice system, with focus on the goal of rehabilitation in hopes of preventing future delinquency. Also while in law school, Ms. Walker was a member of Nova’s Moot Court Honor Society and Trial Association. She was also published for her article “More Than Just Man’s Best Friend Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disability of Persons With Service Animals.” Away from the office, Ms. Walker enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their daughter.
